What are the follow-on resources and how do they work?

Each now>press>play Experience comes with Follow-On Resources for use in the classroom. These extend learning beyond the immersive Experience, helping to develop discussion skills and build literacy. The resources are tailored to different Key Stages, so you can deepen learning in a way that suits your pupils.

For KS1 and KS2:

• Recap, Discuss & Quiz – encourages classroom discussion and checks understanding
• Oracy Opportunities – activities like debates, news reports, and role-plays
• Glossary – key vocabulary to support learning
• Reading Comprehension – story-based questions similar to SATs
• Writing Opportunities – creative tasks inspired by the Experience
• Grammar & Punctuation (KS2 only) – SATs-style exercises linked to the story

For Reception & Nursery:

• Recap, Create & Play – discussion questions and creative activities
• Art & Design – crafts and mark-making ideas
• Drama Games & Role Plays – encourage imaginative storytelling
• Word Mats – illustrated vocabulary to support language development
  Action Storyboard – interactive overview of the Experience for group review

All resources are available in the App under the 'planning section' and can be emailed to you.
