How does now>press>play work for children with hearing aids or cochlear implants?

Our headphones can usually be used as normal, though some adjustments may be needed depending on the child’s hearing setup.

These steps are a guide only, and it’s the school’s responsibility to ensure the solution works best for each child.

Test the equipment first:

• Does the headset fit comfortably over the hearing aid or cochlear implant?

• Is the position comfortable?

• Is the headset volume set appropriately?

• Is there any unusual feedback from the hearing aid?

If the headset isn’t comfortable or feedback occurs, alternative options are available. These depend on the child’s specific needs.
