How can we assess learning and engagement during our trial?
You can assess learning and engagement by using our Learning & Engagement Assessment Pack & Pupil Voice Document to track what pupils remember, how engaged they are, and how well the Experiences support your teaching.
1. During the Experience
-
Observe engagement – note moments when pupils are most animated, attentive, or enthusiastic.
-
Spot curriculum links – identify where the Experience connects directly to your current topics or objectives.
2. After the Experience
Learning & Engagement Assessment Pack
-
Measure learning – record what pupils remembered, understood, or could explain.
-
Record engagement – capture emotional and behavioural responses.
-
Reflect on teaching – assess how well the Experience supported your lesson aims and where it could be adapted.
Pupil Voice Document
-
Give pupils the opportunity to share:
-
What they learned.
-
What they enjoyed most.
-
Any moments that made them think differently.
-
-
Responses can be written, drawn, or recorded.
3. At the End of Your Trial
-
Review your evidence – compare results from different Experiences to see patterns in learning and engagement.
-
Share your findings – with SLT, Curriculum Leads, and with us. Your feedback helps improve our content and supports other educators in making informed decisions.
Tip: Keep both documents handy during the session to capture feedback while it’s fresh.
